A site for anaesthetists to work together...

This idea behind this website belonged to Dr. Suman Mitra, an Anaesthetics SpR with an interest in audit and research.  It was implemented by Dr. Michael Greenway.

This site allows groups of people to work together more effectively and efficiently on both Audit and Research projects by breaking them down into tasks and enhancing task allocation and communication.

There are three main parts to the site:
  1. Communication:  A bulletin board for each project allows members of a team to discuss all parts of the project.
  2. Task allocation and milestones:  Each task within a project can be left open for anyone to complete or can be allocated to an individual.  Furthermore, milestones (deadlines) can be set and tasks allocated to them, so everyone in the team can be clear about task prioritisation and deadlines.
  3. Collaborative writing: The reports for each project can be written and edited online, so changes are instantly available for review by other colleagues. No more forgetting to bring your USB flash drive in, or waiting for emails.
